Unhappy Weird sounds from Driver Side Wheel:

Okay, I have these two sounds that seem to be coming from my driver's side front wheel. I brought it into my mechanic for the one sound, but he can't seem to find anything wrong.

First sound is when I just pull off, the car makes a light circular sound, sort of a rattling.

Second sound is when I hit things like a manhole, I hear a clank sound front he front wheel. Not exactly sure what it is but if anyone has any input of what to check for, then I can relay it over to my mechanic. The clank sound just started a few days ago...

Thanks for you help CL.

You sure it's the suspension? Sounds like a heat shield on your exhaust honestly.

it's a 2000 GS 300, last time I had STS check the ball joints and such, everything looked good. I will inquire about the heat shield....I just hate not knowing cause I can't drop it off until Saturday and I don't want it to breakdown on me on a major highway

Could be ball joints. Have them checked either way. It's not expensive, and it's a life saver.
