Anyone clear coat their headlights after restoring and if so, what did you use? I did this DIY with wetsanding, then buffing with Plast-x, and then spraying on a high temp clear coat to prevent further oxidation. I cant remember the name of the product but it was like $20 for a 1 time use can which i also used on top of my caliper paint.

Haven't tried to clear coat yet, but used plastX today and that stuff rules! After reading the posts on this stuff, figured it was worth a try. Now I can personally see why so many highly recommend it. Thanks to all for the recommendations!

i've put off this project for too long! i will definitely get this done this week. thanks sojah for your input. and thanks phamboogie, i didnt know you can use this stuff on the gauge cluster as well. mine has seen better days.
