Thumbs up Fabulous grill is in! (and car is lowered)

Car is lower (finally) i'm going to tweak the stance (coilovers) when my spacers show up. I'm just so happy that I finally got the Fabulous grill installed. I was bummed at first cause I thought that $640 got you a OEM matched black plastic grill with chrome frame and aluminum slats hand polished by topless japanese girls. As it would turn out it's a freakin' fiberglass pooper with a vacumed chromed thin ring of plastic around it. You have to paint it yourself and HAND PAINT the stripes in. Kinda lame but whenever, I went a different direction with it and I think it turned out pretty nice. I was going for a more modern/OEM look and I think it pulls it off nicely. I wasn't able to take pictures till later in the day as the sun was going down. The light reflects off of it very nicely in the daytime. It's gunmetal metallic with black powdercoated mesh behind it. The DRL's are 5 LED clusters (white) and the missing foglight is a lesson in bolting things in before going to the gas station.

Next is a inner headlight conversion but i've currently got my hands full with the interior. I'll add a picture or 2 tomorrow of it in the light. Thoughts?

For $640, I would expect the grille to hand-crafted, high-quality metal. You had to paint the stripes on there yourself, for Pete's sake. I find that to be ludicrous.

Beautiful car though!

Seriously. I guess sometimes you really do just pay for the name-- and exclusivity.

nice grill but now i'm thinking of getting some of those 5 led inner drl lights you got... can you post up a link...(i'm lazy)? thanks,

i went through like 4 different sets of lights in order to finally find a pair that were not yellow when turned on. i guess its a low wattage thing, cuz they would be fine when highs were on blue or white or what not but yellow when just on drl mode... i finally got these ones that are almost purple just so in drl mode they are white... long story short i think yours are better...
