Yes, Corolla 2001-2003 motor for the actuator have the same connectors as the 2GS . You can find one ranging from $50-80 at the junkyard or you can get one from the dealer. The front and rear are the same, but the rear is it a harder to get to, since there is very little room to work with. If you guys need help getting this fix let me know, the shop i got this done is in Pomona 909 area. I will get the Corolla parts number for you who want to get it at the dealer. The ebay one is going to cost you about $230 for one side but there is guarantee it wont go bad again since its the same motor.

I bought these motors for less than $5 + shipping. There are 5 of them enough for all your doors. lol. I am swapping my front pass. door any day now for the actuator motor. There is TONS of research here on CL that many members have used these motors as replacement and it works great! GL!

I'm referring to the dome light. For instance, when you open the door it sets off the "door trigger" which in turn turns the dome light on. One a couple of my doors the dome light comes on intermittently, the switch the sets off the door trigger is built into the actuator. What I'm asking is if these replacement motors fix that problem as well.

Could it still be the actuators if your door does not even lock manually? Or is that most likely caused by something else?
One of the doors suddenly wasn't unlocking when pressing the button on the alarm or on the key, just the other 3 doors. Had to unlock it manually by going in through another door. Next time the car was driven, the same thing happened, and after that the door would no longer lock. With the remote, pressing the button, or manually
. I already ordered the motors from eBay in case it is the actuators. The alarm still goes off if the door is opened, but I've gotta get this fixed soon.
EDIT: The door does still lock/unlock when inserting the key and turning it counterclockwise/clockwise. At least I can lock the door for now while I get this fixed.
EDIT 2: I Followed the DIY on this thread, and it was the actuator that was causing it to not lock/unlock with the remote. However the door not locking manually(it did unlock) was the plastic at the end of the line that connects to the inside door handle being broken, a seperate issue I probably just never noticed untill the actuator went out.
