1998 import car of the year!

I still remember picking up my GS at the dealer that year. One of the first to get one in Toronto. The looks i would get on the streets was priceless. Definitely deserved title of "best import car of 1998."

This video just highlights all of the reasons why the second generation GS is still one of the best cars ever built IMO. Lexus really put so much effort into the design, the performance, the quality, the driving dynamics... and the results showed. The 2nd gen GS is right there with the Acura Legend and older LSs as IMO, the best sedans that ever came out of Japan. I don't think the same level of passion is seen in their current sedans.
I was ten when the 1998 came out, and it was the first car that I ever fell in love with. My neighbor bought a black/tan GS 400 when they first came out and at that moment...I became a Lexus lover and here I am today
