If you're not into super slamming the car, the Tein CS coilovers ride almost like stock.

I dont want that low low look, I want to have low look but with ride quality, tein cs is way out of my budget. I personally was thinking of going with the tanabe lineup of lowering springs.

slam that ***** on either coilovers or air (for adjustability for the winter), and go 18s. 20s will pound your suspension and kill your gas mileage. Or, if you want to take a page from the vette's book, 18x8.5F and 19x10R

18's are too small if you don't lower the car much. 19's or 20's mildly dropped on coilovers or springs would look much better. The bigger wheel in the back look doesn't work very well on the GS because the front fender arch is larger than the rear one.

everything looks good, i would leave the interior as is, it looks great.... i think a dash kit, custom made or not would be tacky

IMO do coilovers first, Stance or Tein SS should be in your price range if you were planning on buying 20's. Remember drop first rims second

i do understand you guys, that is why i'm thinking of lowering my car first with springs only. winter down here is bad. and i just want my car lowered for summer. i know you guys are going to say do air or coils but i cant spend that much cash. and i did say "if everything goes as planned i will get some wheels".
but that was a 50/50 chance. and springs are not going to be that much with spacers. that is why i want to ask if i should go with tanabe df210's? and in what drop should i get to have a nice drop so that i dont have any rubbing issues with the stock 17 chromies with spacers.

The car has so much potential. It's in great shape, it seems. Enjoy the modding!
