Default Newbie saying hello...

Hello everyone,

My name is Rob and i'm a 1st time owner of a Lexus/Toyota product. I have been a long time Honda owner for many, many years. My buddy bought a IS250 and I really like it. For me I was looking for something in the 10K to 12K price range and low miles, reliable with some fun factor to it. So I ran into this 1999 GS400 with 55,000 miles on the clock and couldn't say no. Here's a few pics that I took yesterday of her. If anyone has any pointers or suggestion about the GS400 please let me know. Thanks everyone......

Now for a few pics that I took tonight (yes it's dirty with all the rain lately)

Heres a few exhauts clips of what I'd like it sound like in the future

BORLA: My favorite (well rounded)

CUSTOM: The FURY!!

Looks like you got yourself a great deal, I picked up my 99 with 100,000 miles for $14,000 although the car is absolutely immaculate. I still have all the factory stickers on the car that look brand new, the first aid kit, hazard kit and spare were never even touched. My friend bought an 03 IS and my car was cleaner and in better shape than his...haha. Have fun with the car love the color!!!!

Thanks for the replies guys...

I bought the car for $11,000 and it has 55,000. It's a 1 owner previous before me. There is not 1 door ding on the car but there is some scratches on the front and rear bumper that you can see close up. The paint on the rest of the car is in really good shape. The only other thing is the rims are curbed to heck..... So i'll be in the market next summer for a decent up grade. For the money I really couldn't complain.

Welcome to the boards,

I use to be a honda owner myself. Since owning a couple lexus,
I was very satisfied with the quality/build on these cars.

Same with me. I've owned Hondas since I had my license and my '01 GS300 is the first non-Honda, 4-door, automatic car I've ever owned. Like you, Im very satisfied with the quality and reliability of Toyota/Lexus .

Congrats on the new ride! I test drove a 400 and wished I would have got it, but my 300 is just fine for me... keeps me out of trouble .
