i got a price quote for $180 at cherry hill lexus in nj but they said i had to call service and ask them how much to program

Since we are talking about keys, what if you only have one key and it's not the one that is keyless. I bought my GS and it didn't have the keyless entry key. Can the dealer still program it for me if I buy a programmable Lexus uncut key?

I believe if the key you have isn't a master key,ie the valet key.You have to get the computer reflashed at he dealer.But please don't quote me on it.I'm new here too.

yes you can, all the dealer does is order a blank key and chip!
and just program it with their scantool
its soo easy 10 min job cutting and programming but it will cost u
