Yea, i would have said $350 total, lip, ship and paint. I think the majority of us were expecting something along this line completed and ready to mount.
My expectations were from my experiences in purchases for my 5 Series. I got my M Bumper, lip spoiler, fogs, shipping and paint for $500 total.
The hard work and effort is much appreciated though, maybe later down the some vendor may be able to meet the prices most of us were looking for.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
$280 plus shipping?
common Omar. There has got to be something better out there.
Please clarify if its $280 shipped to Canada.
If it is, then am still in for the $140 deposit. Paying the deposit will make me feel better than paying all up front.
did i say aaarrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh........lol

I don't think this is Omar's fault. He is in the business to sell parts and he is doing all the customer relations and legwork here.
TTE should be in the position to realize that a group buy constitutes 100% of that order being sold outright. I doubt they even maintain a stock of this type of item, but the other prices factored into an item's cost are being negated right up front.
This doesn't make me want the lip any less, but I wasn't ready to mount on the car yet either (I was just going to store a part based on a good deal). That said, I am afraid I have to back out. Someone else can have spot #25...

This doesn't make alot of sense, I would think TTE would understand how this works, if the cost is say, 350 for one. there is no promise they will sell another one ever again (not likely, but possible) If they get a promise for say, 50 units, their fixed cost of production (tooling) gets spread across 50 units. I doubt their variable cost (material, labor) is the bulk of their total cost here.

$280 is a good price for this lip + $100 more for paint is excellent. I think I paid $320 + shipping for mines...then painting costed me $150 more.
Great job Omar (just in case someone didn't say it yet)!!
Im not sure what everyone is about!! Consider the shipping of this lip is not cheap.

OK guys, rather than go through the next hundred replies of "in" or "out", I'm going to close this thread and ask M1 to please post up this group buy in the vendor marketplace forum.
Those members who are still interested in the TTE lip can contact them to order or ask questions in that thread. Thanks.
I suggest that anyone buying one search for the 'molded in' and adhesive threads in this forum before getting it installed
My GS back when I had the TTE lip on it:
And by the way...they're real, and they're spectacular.
