Default Tundra to GS400 Parts Interchange

Im sure you all already know this, but just in case someone doesnt here goes.
When changing T-Belt on my 98 GS400, I found out that almost all of the front engine parts for the GS400 are the same parts used in the 2002 Tundra V8.... I was able to purchase T-Belt, Water Pump, T-Stat, Crank and Cam Seals, and tensioners for about $300 or so retail (I purchased with my employee discount....) Just a heads up in case this wasnt common knowledge. All of the above part numbers cross to the toyota numbers for the 2002 Tundra V8 VVTi engine.

My Rav4 shares many parts with my GS400. For instance, the throttle pedal (linkage) which I had to replace on the GS400 some years back has the same part# as the one in my Rav4. The door locking mechanisms are the same across the Lexus/Toyota line as well. Just a plethora of parts are shared..

I'm not sure about the 430, but I know the 400 is the same.
If the part numers are the same on the 430 as they are on the 400, it would work.....

didnt trd make a charger for the tundra............? and most parts from the gs400 will work as they are the same motor.....black and stuff the same! gs400 was a 4.0L and gs430 was a 4.3L so i think its just a internal change!

Yeah, I also am curious.. I know there are TRD superchargers for some of those Tundra engines.... how interchangable, if at all, would they be w/ a GS4, if they're the same engine...

Anyone?

Thats been a topic here too. Yes it will bolt up, but good luck finding one. Also, you can only use the blower, non of the other stuff will work that I know of. Maybe you should ask the guy with the swapped 1uz.

The only difference between the two engines is bore/stroke. The deck heights of the block are the same and the heads are the same.

yeah, electronics won't work but at least it bolts up mechanically (which I'm sure can be solved by some aftermarket piggy back). the other hard thing is sourcing one like you said.
