My sister's 2GS dropped on 20's (with car ****!!!)
My sister is not big into the modding scene (she's tinted her car; that's it...), but when she needed new tires, she thought she might as well upgrade to bigger wheels. And when she saw how tall the car got, she asked me to drop it conservatively.
So, SPECIAL THANKS to:
--Esteban (Machina) for supplying Espelir springs.
--Tommy Leung of Music Box for installation.
--Peter (Peter 95) for the photoshoot in Long Beach.
did she just get those wheels ? i think i have seen that gs around little saigon but before it didnt have a drop
her gs looks nice!
She got the wheels over a month ago. She does go to Westminster often, so you may have seen it. I just badged her with a ClubLexus sticker on the rear center brake light...

the drop looks perfect on 20s!
question: is that a 300 or 430?
It's an '04 GS300. I was extremely close to debadging her car while I had it, but opted not to. I can always do it another time.
She wanted to maintain the relatively smooth ride (for 20"s), and Espelirs have the same spring rate as stock, just lowered by about 1.2-1.5 inches.
phil, monitor her shocks for her. espelirs provide one of the most aggressive drops for springs on the 2GS. it's highly recommended to replace the shox as well when installing the espelirs...they will blow the stockies in a bit.

just my 2 cents...i have the same springs
We'll keep an eye out for it.
She won't ride it hard, so I think the stress should be minimal.
When she does need to get it replaced, we'll change it accordingly.
