I dont know if anyone has done it for the GS yet, but there are start up modules for sale that you can install in your car. I just wouldn't know where to put it

Yeah not sure where I would put it too to give it a clean look. I mean you dont want to make it stick out like a sore thumb.

replace one of the e-shift buttons on the back side of the wheel hahaha

nah i'd probably try to find a way to mount it either in the ashtray or that little change thing on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Maybe even right up on the dash near where the key ignition is.

id be down if someone found one...

I don't think there's really any point to it since you still have to put the key in. Putting a button in the ashtray to start the car makes things more complicated too.

When I get my GS, I 100% on accomplishing this. My friend is an electrician--we're going to rig up a setup that activates the ignition switch correctly and unlocks the steering wheel.

Its' rather simple, especially for an electrician I've thought about the idea but in the end I went back out on it due to the fact that I will eventually sell my car, and I wouldn't want to have to revert back to stock.

this might help. lol you might have to bypass the key ignition and add this in, but not safe if someone knows you can just hop in the car and start it. such newer lexus has the rfid modules on the key so when you are near the car you can start it.

although if someone had accomplish this project on the 2nd gen gs thats sweet.

You should use the Left e-shift buttons for audio controls.
