Default Front & Rear fitment question

Hello everyone,
Have gotten lots info from this site through searches, very useful, especially the dreadful lock actuator... I am planning on getting 20" wheels for my GS stock (I believe it's all stock..). After looking through most members' setups, it seems that everyone has different width & offsets for rear & front (ie. 9 front & 10 rear). Is it possible to run same width & offsets for all 4 wheel on the GS? Only reason is cause so I can rotate them easily...

Also, I'd like to know how low I can drop with 20" without rubbing and living in an area with quite a few bumps. I'm thinking maybe 2 finger space would be sufficient. Here are some pics just for reference, tires are Yoko P215/60/16 94S on all 4. Current gap size 3" front & 2" rear.

Thanks!!

yes same size width front to back with same offset is what comes factory on these vehicles so it is perfectly fine to go with especially for the reasons you mentioned like rotating... since it is a rwd (rear wheel drive) vehicle you do have the option of making the rear width a little wider than the front and also the offset a little deeper.. if you do want to keep them all the same size and offset i would go with an 18" or maybe 19" but i hear that 19's can be as expensive as 20's in a lot of cases for wheels & tires.
an 18 x 8 that is dropped 2-3 inches really looks nice on these cars... that is what i would go with personally if i had to do it all over again.

if you are looking for a nice ride... get something with lots of side wall.. the more side wall the nicer the ride... (in most cases. )

You can go this low and not rub. Just deppends on how much work you want to do.
Height, offset, width, diameter and tire size needs to be consider for stance and fitment.
If you use the same width and offset on all 4, the fronts are goin to stick out past the rears. However; you can always add a spacer to make them look even and still rotate your wheel.
