Default Sensor

My mom just got a GS400 with the 17's on it. My question is, does her car have any sort of leveling sensor on it. The last car she had, SL500, had a leveling sensor that would sound the alarm when anyone would try and steal the rims from her car. This might sound like a stupid question, but my parents have a home in Florida outside of Miami and this is a fairly frequent occurence in that area. Thanks.

I dont believe so....Dont rely on the factory alarm to do much...if you want an alarm...get a real one with shock sensor, fuel cut-off, ignition cutoff and even thief leg cutoff option...

Another excellent recommendation that someone here posted here before was to install some sort of hood lock. Its a lock that keeps the hood shut when the thiefs break into your car and open the hood to get at the battery or the alarm horn... I remember there was a post on that....anyone remember?

It has a level sensor to keep the HIDs aligned (if your car has HIDs) but it's not used to prevent theft.
