Cleaned the garage yesterday
Yesterday the garage got a long overdue cleaning, it's so much nicer now Anyway, I came across an old TRD bar I had on the Supra a few years back and decided it would be perfect on the GS300. So after some test fitting and re drilling I got it to fit (although I had to use some washers for spacers)! It does not fit too bad for not being made for the car but screw it, it was free.
Excuse the crappy camera phone pics -
It looks close to rubbing in the pic but there is a 1/4" of room so it's all good -

its not that it wont "work out" or fall off necessarily, i just doubt its more stable then when your strut bolts were making full contact with the strut tower before you added that bar with all those washers.... instead of the contact patch being the entire bottom of each end of the bar, you've reduced it to the size of a 1/4in bolt x3 for each side....
