Is there a learn button on your opener? You need to make sure the opener is on learn mode while you are programming in your car.

i dont think i have a learn button. i've checked all around the box itself and all i see is wires

nice car and welcome to the club. try the search bar, i got my remote programmer from there from a old post, i will (when i get home) see if i still have the directions and attach them if i do!
