Default Will 275/40-18's work in the rear?

I know that the standard size is 275/35-18, but the tires I want are only made in 275/40-18. Does anyone think that will cause any problems?

by the way.... why you going to 18's for ????????
I have two sets of wheels, both 18 with stagger. Provides the best comfort/performance mix for me. The reason I want this particular tires is that it's rated the highest for dry performance, wet performance, and ride noise. Ride noise being the #1 determining factor.

Yokohama S-Drives or Bridgestone RE960AS' are rated very high for noise comfort

Those both are great tires, as a matter of fact I have the RE960AS Pole Position on my ride now as my winter set up. They're great handling tires but the noise after 10K is unbearable. I'm looking for something that has good handling characteristics and is quite.

Here's a link to the tires I want.

http://www.nittotire.com/#index%2Etire%2Eneogen

Does anyone have either experience with these tires and/or running 275/40-18 rear tires?
