Washed my engine bay...misifiring now??

just like PHML i have washed out my whole engine bay like 15's times at least and haven't ever had any problems. like dude said i just try not to get the water near the intake, but i have sprayed down the thing that is on the under side of the hood and just about every other component under the hood with water and a light soap scrub and wipe down then i just spray the suds off and let the hood stay up for a an hour or so to dry off... now i am all paranoid and hope to not mess mines up too.

Pete has the right idea! If you MUST wash your engine definitely run your engine at the same time as the gentle water spraying. If any water seeps anywhere the heat from the engine will burn it off before it really gets into anywhere important. As extra percaution I would wrap plastic bags around any electronics (i.e. fuse boxes, wires, sensors etc etc) GL man...
