Pandags430 2gs/3gs Vertex Makeover
#91
Big props to you Panda for taking the plunge and being the first in the US to do this. I was wondering who was gonna be the first. Flawless conversion. Love it!!! I hope you are going to enter this bad boy in some car shows. It'll confuse the heck out of the judges, and you might have some trouble with entering car classes, heheh (like the bigger shows that actually break down the classes according to the different generations of models).

great job on the exterior. what about some interior pics? And do you have any pics of what it looked like during the process of putting this conversion together? We always like the story line pics that show it from the crashed front end, to the bodyshop process. Maybe im just lame? lol. Nice job!

Wow!
Well after that last accident I had ordered a kit from japan which would have been a one off kit. but during that time i get a email from Tony with LUXURYMODS.COM and he tells me I can be the first to have the 2GS/3GS conversion in the U.S. .... and so here we are.
I finally just finished up some of the finishing touches outside the car and thought its finally time to post. Now this is usually out of my realm because quite frankly I don't like fiberglass, but everything turned out really well and the quality of the kit is at its best. I know some people believe I strayed off the 2GS's cues but you know what? Its something different and well....Ive been more susceptible to change lately!

Car looks great - very innovative, creative, and unique.
My only criticism is about the look of the front bumper itself,
really just about how it looks in a profile view. It has more
bulk than the 2GS OE or aftermarket bumpers, making the
nose of the car appear a bit "heavy." Also, with the lack of
chrome stripe you can tell that this is a conversion of some
kind- even if you aren't familiar with the 2GS, this stands-out.
This is obviously not a criticism of your work or efforts, young man!
Clearly the Vertex guys did a good job with the styling considering
how different the 2GS and 3GS are. And the execution and attention
to detail clearly pass muster!
Love the wheels, too.
