Atlanta can't have everything! Ya'll already have Gato's beauty and now Dave's baby? If Adrian pulled the trigger and sold it, I will make a personal hit on him and the buyer!

Once again congrats!

so what makes a car attain a certain level of respect?? just because they are complete, or maybe cuz they have won at different car shows, or their owners put a lot of work or $$$ into them, or because they are OG's if you will on this site??

i have noticed that a few (cars) are on a different level than most, so this is always what i have used to gauge a car in terms of "respect", is this the norm??

oh yeah and p.s.

well, idk but me personally, dave is definitely an OG, in the sense that his GS kind of set the bar. It's kind of the ultimate blend of sporty/vip styling that are the two major paths that these cars can take. Not only that, but damned if it isn't done right. It's stance, the HRE's, the s/charger (which is extremely hard to come by nowadays) it's just the total package. This is not to say that it's the only car of its stature, certainly carbon, jeffTsai, wringo, and many other guys that i'm forgetting about have etched their own place in 2gs legend, but dave's was just one of the most easily recognizable and well put together GSs that can be seen today.

...the thing that also impressed me is that all of Dave's engine mods such as the Supercharger kit didn't throw any CEL codes:

meaning that it was done right
meaning that it would pass inspection
meaning that it was trouble-free

I'm not sure of the other boosted members here (supercharged or turbo'd) but I have seen a couple of GS's boosted that all had CEL's on the dash. Me personally, If I KNEW that a CEL would be thrown I wouldn't do the mod. Everytime someone would go in my car they would ask what that light was and I would have to explain that it was from mods that I have done and it would be looked upon as I messed my car up and I'm foolish. (That's what others would think). I would want the car to look and act like the modifications came from the factory. Dave did his car RIGHT in everyway. It seems to me that money was no object to him with the mods that he put on the car and how nothing was sacrificed...i.e.CEL's

Man, I'm floored......................................Still recovering................wait..............................................coming around..................................... Damn. Congrats to both for the new car and Dave for his future car. The void won't last long, you'll have to have another toy. I did the same thing and bought a GX470. It lasted @ 8 months and traded for the IS350. I say wait for the GS-F....
