so what makes a car attain a certain level of respect?? just because they are complete, or maybe cuz they have won at different car shows, or their owners put a lot of work or $$$ into them, or because they are OG's if you will on this site??
i have noticed that a few (cars) are on a different level than most, so this is always what i have used to gauge a car in terms of "respect", is this the norm??
oh yeah and p.s.

...the thing that also impressed me is that all of Dave's engine mods such as the Supercharger kit didn't throw any CEL codes:
meaning that it was done right
meaning that it would pass inspection
meaning that it was trouble-free
I'm not sure of the other boosted members here (supercharged or turbo'd) but I have seen a couple of GS's boosted that all had CEL's on the dash. Me personally, If I KNEW that a CEL would be thrown I wouldn't do the mod. Everytime someone would go in my car they would ask what that light was and I would have to explain that it was from mods that I have done and it would be looked upon as I messed my car up and I'm foolish. (That's what others would think). I would want the car to look and act like the modifications came from the factory. Dave did his car RIGHT in everyway. It seems to me that money was no object to him with the mods that he put on the car and how nothing was sacrificed...i.e.CEL's

Man, I'm floored......................................Still recovering................wait..............................................coming around..................................... Damn. Congrats to both for the new car and Dave for his future car. The void won't last long, you'll have to have another toy. I did the same thing and bought a GX470. It lasted @ 8 months and traded for the IS350. I say wait for the GS-F....
