01 gs300 shift time

Default 01 gs300 shift time
hey,
i have a 01 gs300 and i wanted to know if it is normal that the gear shifts fast. my car shifts into the first gear at 2000 rpm and 2500 rpm in second gear, especially when hot. is that normal?

OMG you should get that checked ASAP. "Shifting" is not normal in these cars...

yeah it sounds pretty normal. It really depends on how much gas you give it. The more you step on it, the higher rpm it will shift at. I would start to worry when the shifting is too slow...

I dont know about shifting into 1st gear at 2000rpm. You should already been in 1st gear once you put the lever into Drive.
