Hahaha. I was going to buy 6.5" door speakers and make some adapters myself, but I figured I wouldn't need the extra bass from door speakers anyway. Saved myself some money.

Help? Please?
Although the OEM sub is still in, it actually sounds quite decent.

sub is pretty easy to remove, there are DIYs on here if you do a search but I will see if i can remember most of the steps.
1. pull up back seat bottom cushion the clips are at the front of the seat, just pull real hard, you won't break it,
2. there are 4 bolts 12mm? at the bottom of the seat back portion of the rear seat. Then there are 2 more 12mm?, one behind each headrest under a flap of vinyl, rear seat should now be out, you can leave the seat belt hooked up, just move the seat back out of your way
3.remove the side pillar covers above the rear deck, be gentle here or you might break some clips(i did and had to epoxy some parts) use a trim removal tool or screw driver if you can to take stress off the clips
4. there are 2 push pin christmas tree type of plugs that you can pull out with a trim removal too, also there are the child safety latches going through the top of the rear deck cover, snap the covers off these child seat latches and i believe the bolts are 10mm below the covers
5. the sub has 4 bolts holding it down remove the sub and put everything back together and you should be good
This is all from memory but should be close, i hope it helps

On another note I did 6.5" speakers with brackets and sound deadening mat through out the doors and was blown away with the results. I first just had the 10" sub upgrade kit from elemental designs and it did not blend well with the factory speakers at all. I find the 6.5" that i installed have an incredible amount of bass on their own and blend very nicely.

I didn't have time to make/buy brackets so I'll be doing that in the near future. I have 4" Polk Audio speakers and they really don't mix well with the Kicker subs at all.
