I use Amsoil ARO 20-w50 motor oil. It's red in color instead of yellow like most other oils
Also, if you do a lot of work on your car and it's lowered...do yourself a favor and buy one of these:

It's awesome and can lift up most lowered cars without having to use a scissor jack to raise one side up first.

Well thats where bags come in hand!
just find a place that use the pits to change the oil and not a lift. Jiffy Lubes usually have them and Econo lubes. and I believe all Wal Marts have them as well, just watch them and make sure they do it right...
and if you want to do it yourself, you can always drive up on your curb and roll yourself under that way. (not a joke) its possible and gives you plenty of room.

I just use OEM jack to jack up the oil drain side (pass side for 400s) and just jack it high enough that the oil pan fits below the filter side also.
I know it's dangerous, but I've done it many times and I don't do a slow job of it. lol
I use 5 litres of Mobil 1 5-30 Syn, but I'm wondering what to use in winter here, it's VERY cold....

i still can't believe no one has mentioned this. Go to home depot and cut yourself some plywood. Make a step-ramp out of it and just drive onto the home-made ramp whenever you need clearance in the front or rear.

for alignments i go to a shop that caters to lowered cars. i do change my own oil. we have a 2 post rotary lift at my shop. i have to drive my car up on 2x4's and then use my stock jack to lift it up a little to clear the arms. then it is easy sailing
