Suicide doors

I came very close to doing suicide rear doors on my GS before it was painted.
It's tricky to engineer a nice hinge based on where it would have to be mounted- above the wheel arch. There is a universal kit out there but it didn't seem well-suited to the GS unibody structure.
Also, there is an issue of re-wiring the speakers, windows, door locks, etc.
I also passed on shaving the door handles (all four). I kind of wish I had done that, but I'm kind of glad I didn't!
