so i guess i have to start by saying since i started working at this new job 1.5 years ago i have been really slacking on my car hobby/ past time stuff so i finally got really bored yesterday and took the time to find some nice backdrops for some car pics. i have been trying to sell my car for about 2 months now and i originally used some random in a hurry not so great pics to use to try to sell it... well now i put a little more effort in and took some better ones after washing the car up nice n all. i am no professional,,, in fact my strategy is to just take 200 pics and see which 10 or so are the best. i didn't use a special camera or any settings other than the point n shoot method.

i also wanted some nice pics as memories years from now when i no longer own this car i can look back at and remember the good ol' 2gs days. so here goes... oh and please feel free to comment on which ones suck and which ones don't. also, please remember that i am using these pics for my autotrader ad to try and 'sell' the car with so keep this in mind when commenting. thanks,

ohh yeah my bad, i already have all the interior shots already on the autotrader page... they are just as clean if not more clean,, i just needed some good exterior shots.. thanks for the comments... and which would you guys pick as being the #1 shot of these 10 cuz i want to change the main pick on autotrader to get more attention and possibly to run in the washingtonpost newspaper... thanks everybody.

Ok, the lighting doesnt seem too bad however you do need to correct the color of the photographs. Notice how they all have an un-atractive blue color overlaying the whole picture. Either re-shoot and change your color options so the colors or more balanced and your white car actually looks white. Or an easy fix would be to use photoshop and just use Image > Adjustments > Auto Levels which would fix your pics easy and quickly. Also are you willing to part with that grill since your selling???

i knew someone would say to drop it (no names mentioned),,, notice i said i'm selling the car however. the grill is now something like 350$ and if the next owner doesn't want it then i shall replace w/ original and part it,,, i guess you go dibs.

i will have to try that photoshop thing if i can find a copy of photoshop laying around (the introweb). the camera is a japanese bought one so i can't figure out how to change any of the settings and my wife hates cars so obviously i'm screwed either way,,, maybe i can get her drunk and then she can help me to take some better photos,,, wait that wouldn't work either.

cool, i'll prob go with that second pic for the main car ad thumbnail cuz i likes it too.

hey chuckb you forgot to mention the exhaust, intake, rotors, clear sides markers, and sub/ amp in the trunk...

my plan is to sell the car, so lowering it is prob not going to happen... but that is a very original thought,, nobody has ever mentioned that to me before... hmmm... again only respect

I would remove all the aftermarket items and sell them here or ebay. Also, I doubt pictures are the reason your car is not selling GL
