I run 40 psi in my tires. Just watch pot holes "DA RIM KILLAZ". The most I drove was 600miles in 2 weeks then I took off my rims. I just did not want to get a bent rim. BIG BUCKS of the rims.

When I think of stretched tires, I picture a lowrider



This sort of set-up in NYC especially a vehicle that is daily driven is asking for problems. How does one with this set-up handle corners on the highway at 50mph? How do you counter bump steer with this dangerous set-up ??

^ ive not got stretched tyres on this car but on my last S13 i had 225/40 on 9" and 235/40 on 10" and drove those all day every day for a year no issue.

then i had 225/35 on 9.5" and 235/40 on 10.5", again no worries. thing handled fine even at high speed :P

I dont daily drive my Lex . But when I do drive it I try to be carefull

^ i am going to be going 225/35 on 9 and 245/35 on 10 daily in the next couple of months once my rims arrive so ill see how i go :P

I don't want to sound naive, and I think I know the answer...but
are "streched tires" a styling thing ? I'm picturing the tire sidewall bowing out to meet the inner lip of the wheel mating surface.
