Default Price Check! '03 Gs430

^Are these OEM Lexus wheels? I haven't gone to take a look at it but can anyone tell if it is equiped with a particular package? It "looks" clean from the pics lol.

NADA average trade in is $17,175 and stealership is asking $19,995. Do GS' sell pretty close to what kbb, nada, edmunds say is private party/trade/retail or is it higher/lower?

I hail from the Nissan camp and have been looking at getting a G35 sedan as well and know that they can be had OTD for what the guides say is trade in value.(At least in my area the G sedan market is down.)

Opinions on what a realistic price would be? In my opinion and past experience from what friends trade in their cars in for and what the stealership turns around and sells them for, $17k OTD is a realistic price.

i have not shopped for a 430, but all big sedans are taking a beating right now. Not only is the market rough for all cars, it is especially rough for the V8s. prices have plummeted for gs's and ls's. i would say that anything above trade in is unrealistic.

yes, those are oem wheels. and that is an absurdly cheap price. I would buy it immediately even without having the money as that car easily is worth 25,000 plus.

you can't go by trade in as its always on the low side. go by private party and then see what the suggested retail is to see how much the dealer is trying to screw you.

you can expect a dealer to try to make at least $3,000 on every car they sell, so negotiate appropriately. they probably either got that car at an auction or screwed someone on the trade in during the gas crunch with the old "there's no market for v8's anymore" bs.

That seems to be an average price from a used car lot.

That is a very good price and the car seems to have every option available. Get it before it slips away.

What's the Ultra Edition? I take it means that it doesn't get any more loaded than this ride lol?

I have those same rims on my 03 430, although they are not chrome but your standard silver. I never knew it was an Ultra Package. I thought during that time frame only the LS430 had an Ultra.

I've never heard of a GS UL.

Mine is loaded just as the OP listed, and looking up and down at the original window sticker, there is zero mention of UL.

If someone offered me sub 18k right now I'd laugh at them... Your market must be flooded and forcing values to tank. Clean `03+ 430s still easily pull north of 20-21k on the east cost.
