Rear bumper inset painted black? Pictures? Thoughts?

There are a couple different brands of rear bumper inserts for the 2GS, one is Toms, the other is TTE. I had one on mine for a while before the L-sportline and ended up taking it off, mainly because it was black and my car was black and it pretty much looked OEM like that.
Here's the Tom's Racing VA300 insert on my (former) GS circa 2003 - pics aren't that great sorry, digital cameras weren't as good five years ago, or at least mine weren't.

TTE on another member's SRT TT GS (Flashgordon, car now sold)
and the TTE on their 'model' car with quad exhausts

I am getting this done next week by the way guys since my roof is black and i have the black&white theme going. I wonder if i should paint it or vinyl it.

you can just vinyl it. sometimes it will look better than you paint it.just my opninion. Plus if you want to sell you car or get some scraches you can take it off any time. my one is viny. as the pic you can see above. and last thing is that you can save some $$$ on your other mods. I have spent 3 hours to get this done. becuase of the particular shape of bumper insert.
