Nice, I've noticed you completely stripped all the paint even in the windows right? What did you use to strip the paint?

I too would like to know. I tried to strip the whole grill so that I could get as much chrome to show as possible, but it looked horrible so I spray painted everything again and stripped off the paint on the front and bottom.

btw I used Jasco premium paint remover, I think it was called, from Home Depot.

Not trying to be sarcastic, but I've been reading posts on this exact same mod for 8 years now.

Do a search and you will find plenty of how-to information

I used "Goof Off"....yes I spelled that correctly. Its web site is www.goof-off.com It's in a liquid solution and can be used for many things but one is to strip paint so be careful. The other 2 things I used to get the paint off was an old tooth brush and some Grade #0000 steel wool. The tooth brush was especially helpful in the window area. Both were purchased at Lowe's.

Took about 3 hours...I'm very meticulous and wanted it done right the first time.

Thanks for all the compliments!!
