Thank you guys for all your valueable comments. . Since most people thinks that is a little too big for this GS. I might take if off when I have time. This big L could still stay on my grill for another two weeks. coz it really take some time to get this done.

It doesnt look too bad. Once a drop and kit or lip on, I think it'll look smooth with the car.

I've thought the same thing for awhile now, and posted it awhile back (maybe that was the post you read?). Anyway, I finally got my GS a week ago and am awaiting a rear "L" emblem that came off an IS350, which is about 3.5" tall. That will fit well in the big space on the trunk lid. The grill I'm not sure about yet, because I too was thinking the stock grille is too overcome by the big L. I'm not sure what I'm doing there--maybe the RMM grille all chromed, with a medium sized L emblem. Not sure yet...

I think I give you props for being different ...

But on that same token ... you should have alot more done to your car before doing that .. IMO

either way alot of people mentioned it on the boards so glad you were that guy who actually did it and showed us

I agree with Chrispy. Stick with 01 up grille.
From your choice of wording I'm assuming the '98 thru '00 grille is diff. from the '01 up for 2GS? What's the diff?

Why did you do it in the first place, to please others or to please yourself? If you like the way it looks, that's all that matters. I don't think it looks great but I don't think it looks bad.

It's pretty cool but I think that it looks bigger (almost too big) because of all that chrome. Perhaps that larger emblem would look better on an all mesh grille like a TTE with just the "L" in the middle of the black mesh. Looks like a clean DIY though...

It's a bit too big for my taste. I actually just purchased a 01+ grille from a member who something similar. He did not use the L from LX/GX though. It might be from the 3GS so it's not as large as yours. I installed it the day other day and I think it looks great.
