I have optional factory 17's(235/45/17) on my car, is it possible to install 245 tires on them? My friend installed 215 on his 205(Infiniti I30) without any issues. So is it possible/safe?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Also do you know if there's anyone who's making oem style 5 spoke 17's but more wide? So I can make staggered setup and look stock. 245 upfront and let's say 275 on rear?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Well, that's kind of wide and tall for the factory wheels.
Imo, it will look odd on our 2GS.
Reason; tires that are too large might lift your car, change your speedo readings, they may also look balloonish.
btw, sometimes when tires are too wide for the wheel, they may cause the center of the tread to wear prematurely.
check out this site:
click the compare/ search tab. it will give you all the specs. after you enter the tire sizes.
