#34
grill does look good but it looks like it did before you did the DIY, but just a darker color!!
I think im gona respray my grill im tired of looking at all that residue crap on my grill. i used a spray and i used the regular kind you apply with the paint brush. DID NOT TAKE OFF OF IT AT ALL!! im gona redo the DIY and just do the spokes!! But how do you protect the paint from regular car washing and everyday driving? just alot of clear coat???
but nice grill non the lesss!!

I used about 6 coats of paint.. if it chips.. Ill just re-shoot it.
Im riding on HKS hypermax RS coilovers
Don't want to threadjack but thought I might be able to help quick. I tried a weak stripper on mine that didn't do much then went to nail polish remover and scrubbing with one of those green pads you'd use to clean dishes. Took alot more time but it came out great and didn't strip the parts I didn't want done. I don't know how this would work on an 01-05 and it wouldn't work real well if you're trying to take the paint off the whole thing but it worked great on the front of my 99 grill.
Thanks
No spacers for me.. Im selling the wheels.
Im with ya brotha -- Down with the bling!.. Ha
