Default Best sized rims for a 2002 GS3?

I was just wondering, what size rims would be best for me to drive around and not worry about driving different just for the rims. Roads aren't exactly perfect where I live. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

if you're that worried about bending rims, then just stick with oem's. they're spec'd by the mfr for optimum performance

20's with a modest offset and 245/35 tire are fine for everyday driving.

Anything over 20's is when you start having problems and need to make modifications.

Stick with 19's if you're worried about road conditions. I currently have 20's on mine and I use my car as a daily (San Diego). I also have a conservative/modest offsets on my wheels. No problems so far.

Sorry, I don't mean to thread jack. I was thinking about going with some staggered 19's. 19x8.5 +14 front 245/35/19 and 19x9.5 +14 265/30/19 or maybe 275/30/19. What do you guys think?

Everyone who goes 20's is going for looks not performance. I want ultimate performance and I'm on stockies with 245/45/17. For me 18 is the most.

24's ALL DAY

If you have stock suspension, then please stick with your oem wheels, nothing looks worse than aftermarket wheels on stock suspension.

Not everyone, I'm into performence and have 20's. Although; my 19's will be installed soon, but I think they are just as heavy

If you worry about potholes and bad roads....go with 18s...the fat tire setup will provide enough cushion.

I went with 19s since the wheel+tire sizes match the existing diameter of stock size....so I dont have to worry about re-calibrating my speedometer...but I still avoid potholes like landmines.

If roads are not an issue, and purely for looks...go with 20s....speedometer may be off a bit....but who cares....your on DUBS!!!
