Ummm guys what people are talking about is as follows:

1. When the engine is COLD open up the radiator cap.
2. Start the car. Manually set the HVAC to the highest temp setting 85
3. You will see then coolant start to flow
4. Top off accordingly then cap the radiator

There's nothing 'dangerous' about it.

Lol I was being sarcastic.

Just make sure you don't open up the cap to try and top it off after you've taken the car for a spin. Really stupid idea.

I was imagining the face burning-off thing, and was thinking maybe I can live with the gurgling noise... Thanks BossGS4--that helps. Will do tomorrow, but I'm still thinking it's air in the A/C system.

Yeah, that really would suck. Just make sure you do it while the engine is cold.
