It made a huge difference. on the MAF cleaner bottle, it says "proven to gain 4-10 hp on the wheel!" not sure if i did gain that much hp, but something got quicker. my car felt so much lighter and rpm got lower on the freeway. it was a 20 mins cleaning process, and 10 dollar worth of stuff. i think i am gonna do that every other oil change from now on.

got that from kragen for $6.99. it's very easy, unplug the MAF sensor, and there are two small screws holding it down. unscrew them and you can easily pull out the sensor. use the spray to spray the whole sensor inside and out. it drys in seconds. what i did was to spray some canned air to dry the sensor completely. it should take less than 5 mins to do. you should feel big difference after. it should save u some gas too.

I'm not sure there would be any HP gains from cleaning the TB and the MAF... Think about it logically... Your car at one point came from the factory with a clean TB and MAF. If you can get them both as clean as they were from the factory (which is almost impossible to do) then you should be back to putting out the same HP numbers that you would have when the car was new. That is, of course, if there isn't any other HP loss from the factors of engine age.
I've been debating doing an MAF and TB cleaning, but have been worried about the MAF cleaning. Don't want to end up replacing it...
