Default Please help identify noise!!! (Audio Included)

Hello all, before I start let me say I have searched the forum throughly about my problem and I BELIEVE that this noise is coming from my heat shield... I really dont know because I cant get under the car to identify if it really is. But like almost all of the other cases on this site. My car makes this weird noise around 2,000 RPMs now this video is when my car is parked but if you could... Imagine this same noise that you will hear every time i let go of the gas pedal. That noise is what I hear constantly is I drove slowly around the 2,000rpm mark...please help me out because this noise is very very annoying...and BTW sorry for the dirty carpet lol...

hard to tell exactly what kind of noise it is (vibration, suction, pressure etc.)

i will say that my 01 with 132k had a hose clamp that held the heat shield in place around the pipe and it rusted completely apart and was rattling on the pipe. look under the car and see if there's anything wrong there.

other than that, tap the heat shields with the back of a screwdriver and if theyre loose theres your problem.

check your 02 sensors and tap the cats to make sure that's all good.

much outside of that, i cant see what's causing something to make that sound.

I had a accord a while back that had the same problem, it ended up being the heat shield for the CAT. Took it off, noise never came back.

I would see if you can find an exhaust shop to put it up in the air and check it for you. They will know what to look for. And with a sound like that it should be pretty hard to miss.

Sounds like a loose/rotted heat shield, or some other vibration.
