I've been searching and reading the past few days on LED tail lights as I'm about to order a set on Ebay. I have not been able to find my answer... which ebay auctions are the good "sonar" ones?

2nd ones. The 1st and 3rd ones look really cheap and ugly. I think it's the LED pattern that kills it.

i don't know but for me i think the 1st and 3rd ones are wayy better. the 2nd one looks really cheap, kinda like those cheap christmas lights you get at k-mart or something.
btw i think the 1st and 3rd ones are the same so....

I have the Sonar/Wise tails. I think it could look better, but when got them about 2 years ago, I heard they were the "higher" quality LED tail lights. If you do buy the Sonar/Wise, be cautious of purchasing from that seller..... zero feedback!

IMO, I don't care for the square LED pattern, nothing on the GS is square so why should the LEDs??? I would prefer a no-name brand that looks right on the car over a known brand that doesn't quite fit with the car's styling. The best way to go on LEDs is to get a tight/full pattern that's rounded so it doesn't look like "christmas lights" as mentioned above.

As far as quality goes, you're buying them on Ebay so keep that in mind.

Those don't look bad at all, similar to the ones I bought. This is the name of the guy I bought them from on eBay: acekogyo. I've had mine for about a year and no problems. I also like the fact that it has the thinner turn signal and reverse light at the bottom and no "tail light out" indicator on the dash board.

They look better than that picture shows, there's a better picture in the auction I linked to above; although I do agree with the post above on the square LED pattern. I would've prefered a little different pattern.

I'd hesitate to put Ebay tails I didn't trust the maker of on my car. I want to feel confident that they are gonna work every time I drive and I'm not gonna end up sitting on the side of the road meeting someone in a uniform.
