Default 19 or 20 inch on a daily GS300.

Are 8.5x19"/9.5x19" or 8.5x20"/10x20" rims going to be a problem on a 1.5inch lowered '00 GS300?? The car is a daily driver and we have some speedbumbs in my neighbourhood.

As far as I'm concerned, 19's or 18's are the way to go

Edit:

I didn't read the entire post. If you're concerned with speedbumps, then stay with OEM wheels.

Whichever route you choose, just take the speedbump at an angle at a slow speed.

The offset is not yet decided but it's going to be around 35 up to 45. Tires are going to be 235 in the front and 255 at the back.

You can be fine with either, just gotta change the way you drive a little bit. Watch out for potholes and sharp manhole edges, take sharp inclines at an angle and slow down for speedbumps. Everything else being equal, the 20's will give you a little extra ground clearance, but you can put a little bigger sidewall on 19's if you want to which will give a little extra protection for the wheels.

Also look out for the railroad tracks and slow down when you go over them. Regularly check and keep your tires inflated at the proper psi at all times.

A 235/35/19 will leave fender gaps with a 1.5" drop, which I think is a
Unless you are realy low or run a fat tire set up, 19s will not look good IMO do to Wheel well gaps

Default my $.02 !

20's all the way man ! 18's and 19's are cool but 20's arent to big or too small for gs ! since its a pretty beefy car ! also i had staggerd 20's on my other gs4 with tein springs and no problems with speed bumps of u-turns !

All the cars i've owned where lowered and some where to low so i know my way around with lowered cars.

I think 19s is the way to go because i want to keep it as comfortable as possible.
