now that i think about it guys, no joke and i'm not trying to be a ****...but if you can't tell your car has HID's you need your eyes checked.

just put your high beams on and if the low and high match, you don't have HID. If the low beams fire and then change color when you start the car as well as self-level (see the beam go up and down on startup) then you DO have HID's.

i have standard audio and heated seats though my 6 disc and stero just says 'Lexus Premium Stereo' or something and i have the badges and perf. seats (dealer told me thats part of what makes it Platinum Edition). Lexus says I didn't and my lights don't do the dance thing i've seen that on my Dad's RX cuz he has them and I already ordered the kit so probably more questions later on and thanks to everyone for your help...

I got them and I think they turned out really well. I can't tell them apart from "real HID's" (i'm sure some people will take offense with that part so I apologize in advance). I've only got 1 flash from an oncoming driver out of say like 50 drivers. I gotta take some pictures, cleaning the headlight covers tomorrow with toothpaste as there is a little glare.

Just curious if you are still unsure of what lights you have? I thought it was cleared up on the very first page when you mentioned your headlights say HB4? HB4 is the code for 9006 halogen lights so it should have been pretty clear your car didn't come with OEM HIDs.

I never thought they had HID but a link to Lexus said I might and a call to Lexus says I didn't. I thought some HID's weren't blue but I guess I was wrong. Whatever I had these HID's look a lot better I just wanna try to aim them down as I got a flash the other night and don't want to blind anyone, gonna take some toothpaste to them today (the outsides but I suspect the insides are just as dirty because they get condensation so there is a leak somewhere.
