Nothing to do with a Lexus, but saw this on the my350z forums and just warning others. They seriously screwed up his car. Dishonestly and bad business at it's best.

Sad thing is, is that I had almost the EXACT thing happen to me... I went to a reputable shop and asked for a kit on my other car to be installed and painted. He then turned to a guy in the room and said, "hey mike, you want to take this one". So I figured they knew him and his work. (they were very busy at the time to do my request). so "Mike" showed me some pics of his work on show cars and such and I was like coo, lets do it. To make a long story short, I got the car back with drip marks as well, absolutely NO prep work, painted ON car, self tapping screws, over spray everywhere, gravity drops of paint on the car? etc... oh yea, and a graphic across the side of the car I didnt ask for? From a distance I guess the car didnt look extremely bad other than the ricer look, but dam it was terrible.. (but at least I have 650hp under the hood )

It's terrible how he lied to the guy, he couldn't even be honest about it. Instead he tells the guy that everything is going as planned. Good planning indeed. That shop must have really low standards of good work.

I just got through all the pages of that post . i am not a kit guy but damn. That is some shotty work. I have two body shops I use - one for quick and cheap work (mirrors, handles, etc), the other for quality (collision repairs). My cheap shop does not do work this bad.
