Default VERTEX GS with 20's! Need new shoes for the winter...

I need new shoes for the winter and i am thinking about buying 18 inch wheels. I dont know what size tires to go with i am undecisive. I am thinking of going with 235 50 18 or 235 45 18? This is my daily driver in chicago and the winter is coming up I dont want to drive with the 20's. I have the body kit so i dont want the car to get closer to the ground. i like the height of the car right now cause i dont kiss the ground everytime i go up a ramp. Right now i have 235 35 20 and 275 30 20. I want to know what tire would be best with out rubbing and keeping my front bumper from kissing the ground.

THanks guys

235/35/20 & 275/30/20 has a diameter of about 26.5" the closes you can get to that is a 235/45/18 or 245/45/18.

there are calculators that you can use to work out the rolling diameter. if you keep that the same you should be fine. depending how close you are to your fenders and if you have any kind of stretch on your tyres, perhaps lower the offset accordingly relative to the amount of room you will lose having chunkier tyres.

I have that size on G35 wheels and Dunlop Wintersport M3 DSST snowtires. i live in indy and I did fine last year (except for the time the road froze)

Very nice ride. I love the look of those MRR wheels. Being from Cali I have no idea what winter wheels are .
