My first thought is anything you can buy there you could find someone here to import.

I would look for something that maybe can't be imported for one reason or another, and look for a way to do it, if you smell the ***** I'm steppin' in. Maybe off-road parts, one-off stuff, etc.

i usually ask me friend, who is japanese to bid on things like exhaust and suspension stuff like that on yahoo japan. and i will go pick it up from his house. i got a set of jic for like 200 bux used. but again not more shocks at the airport. but exhaust should still be ok. you have to find deals tho.
