Default High RPM at 80mph is it clutch worn?

Hi all I just bought a 2001 GS300 with 98k miles. I didnt notice the problem until after i bought the car. It seems like the gears are working but at 75mph + the RPM Is at 3000 driving normaly on the freeway. This seems odd to because its quite high for a V6 and its running like a 4 cylinder. Could this be my clutch are worn out? if so how much would it cost to fix? anybody having the same problem? please advise.... btw the shift is on D

Welcome! Don't worry, that is normal due to the GS300's high gearing. By the way, you got an I6, not a V6 .

all cars have intakes, but if you mean aftermarket, it still dosen't matter. There is no way that would have any effect on engine revolutions vs speed

I just don't understand how people drive their cars and don't even know what kind of engine they have I see many times ads on eBay and craigslist, that say M3 S54 is a 3.2 V6

i see... dang that's good news then I thought I have to repair the transmission and it's probbably not going to be cheap... But then damn that suck, such a high RPM on the freeway = burns alot of gas. Now I could save that money to change the TIMING Belt and water pump
