Bummer to hear. I really thought that there was some more damage but its not that bad. Like you said it's something most drivers do in a turn lane waiting to go while yielding. It is more dangerous if your a pedestrian or bicyclist at that intersection trying to cross the street. Many times on my bike, I'll see the first three drivers yielding with their heads turned the other way.

Dibs on clear corner lights. Nah, I'm joking. Good to hear you're ok. I've been in your situation before. We all make mistakes.

it's been painful not driving my car for the past weeks. i have been driving a 93 honda accord with no sound system. God, how i hate driving without music...lol
but not to worry, i will be back as soon as my headlights arrive. Car has been preped and is ready to go. just some delays on the headlight shipment.
Used the accident as an excuse to buy some mods i wouldn't have bought in my right senses.....lol
if only i can get my dream wheels too, you all will probably think wringo has a twin on here....lol

man, i am milked right now. There is no money at all.....i am not going through insurance and all is out of my pocket.
anyways, looks like i am not going to be driving the car for another month or so.
The delayed headlights i have been waiting on finally arrived yesterday and they were totally not what the seller described. in fact they were not what i could manage.
and i got it from a fellow member
now am caught up in a mix with this member ( not mentioning name cos i believe we can solve this amicably and dont want to provoke the situation) but i have basically paid storage for this car while waiting on the lights....only to be disappointed.

More storage money and probably will not get to drive the car until i can get another set of headlights which will likely take a week or two and then bodyshop will take another week or two.

I hope at the end of it all, i wont have spent close to what brand new headlights would have costed here in canada instead of buy on CL....
i wish people were more straightforward....

this olddog is sad....can u hear him whine?

Default Same thing happened to me

Exactly the same.

Your ok, shake it off.

Since ins. is going to go up anyway, get it fixed at the best shop, don't skimp. I did, boy did I regret it.

1. Make sure you inspect the spacing between your fender and the hood, or tell the rep that you will be looking for that when its done.

2. Check to make sure your reservoirs, like the power steering is not angled, you can tell by the top of the fluid level on each side.

3. Look for cracks on the air intake etc.

4. make sure each side looks Identical, for example the fender liners. if you drive while its hitting the tire they will be gone.

Hope this helps bro,
