Nice unit, i hate the delay on my wifes 03 430 especially when compared to my 98 ls 400 which is precise.
I am not sure this might fix all of my issue as it is soft as a sponge until highway speeds then it is way to touchy at 60mph and up where the slightest release of the throttle reduces almost 500 rpm.
I feel like an idiot who can't drive , you know the ones who keep sppeding up to coast and slow down over and over again.
Did this help with that issue or is it just mine?

I read this a few times..but I fail to see the benefit. What lag are we talking about?

Throttle lag. When you press the gas pedal and it takes nearly a second before anything happens. If you are cruising around town and lightly pressing the throttle you may not notice the lag too much, but if you are doing 30 MPH and trying to merge onto the freeway going 60 you'll notice the delay. The throttle lag was the first thing I noticed after getting my 03 GS430.

Oh... I never noticed the lag. I just smash an it goes pretty quickly... I leave my ECT on, less lag.

More like stupid Toyota/Lexus Drive by Wire system. Try drive an NSX with DBW and see if you notice the same type of throttle lag

No lag anymore for me with my high stall TC and my other performance mods. ..looks pretty cool though; will it interfere with an air/fuel controller? Or is it something totally different?

I really need to look into this. The throttle response (or lack thereof) was the first thing I noticed on the GS430. It actually bugs me almost everyday when I drive the car.

I had test driven a 98 GS400 just before the 430 I bought and it was clearly evident the second I hit the gas on that test drive.

Does it get rid of the super sensitivity for highway cruising ?
Or am i the only one who has that?
