As far as failure goes...you wont get a dying transmission or a headgasket issue. Instead, you have a front lower balljoint issue that will break if they are old enough. Replace it anyways ($130/pair) despite the mileage.

^ Thanks. I found a nice 2000 for $9995 but its 221 miles away form the house. The search goes on.
