Nice rides by the way. Are you saying you want another Audi S4 and the GS430 is a different handling car?

Yes, I want another s4, such a fun car to drive, cant stand an auto. I didnt comment on the handling of either car but the TT and s4 were far superior but that like comparing apples to oranges.

Why did you get the Lex? Did you not test drive it and notice the automatic transmission and luxury car (read soft) suspension

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm passively considering buying a B5 S4. Been doing my research, and test drove one yesterday...and it was really fun to drive. It was a slushbox though but still fun.

They are all gone Its kind of like you don't know what you had till it's gone. Didnt realize how much more fun a turbo car is to drive and mod, and never knew how much I like a manual (or hate an auto). Don't get me wrong the gs has it's perks and it's a great car.

i feel you man, if i had a job and could find a 6MT b5 s4 with any less than 65k miles within 100 miles of me i'd do it in a heartbeat

however, i'm a broke college student so 6k for my 01 GS3 and getting out of my gas hog of a 99 ML430 and its corresponding 350 a month payment was too much to pass up

add the $400 GIAC or APR chip and add an instant 68hp and it will be a 318hp twin turbo 2.7 slushbox

gut downpipes, get a cat-back exhaust and a manual boost controller and u have nearly 300 wheel hp and high 12's in the 1/4 mile.

I loved my 2001.5 especially the manual tranny, twin turbo, and AWD. I had to part with it because the maintenance was killing me . I felt like I could never get ahead. Maybe if I did my own work I could have afforded to hold onto it, but I'm not a mechanic and that thing was a beast to work on.

It looks like you've either had numerous Audi's over time or a couple at once (based on the pics). Why don't you keep the Lexus and get another B4 S4??

thats what I'm afraid of. I love the Lexus reliability and how I can work on it.

The S4...the engine seems like it has to be pulled to do anything, the ball joints are worse than the GS, and I've never owned a German car (not even sure if they use metric of standard tools...).

I loved the S4 since it came out and wanted one since I was 17. Well, here I am mid twenties, in grad school with student debt...but I test drove a S4 yesterday and one turn around a round-about and I fell in love. The car actually felt good and stable turning!
