Default ATTN: ALL 98-00 GS300/400's!!!!

There was a thread on here a few months ago about the absence of a chrome "L" on the steering wheel (like that found on an 01-05 GS). I took a look at ebay and some other lexus parts websites and I can't find it. If you own a 98-00 GS and want a chrome "L" on your steering wheel please vote and comment. If we have a lot of votes I'll try to get someone to make it happen.

THANK YOU

I wouldn't mind it. Hell I want a wood steering wheel that doesn't cost 700 bucks...too for that matter

There is no good way to mount it on the L to make it look good. I have one and tried to make it look good or sit on the L It stick's up if you use the 3m double sided tape. I'm not going to super glue it on there either. So I vote Keep it clean with no chrome unless you buy the RX one of Ebay or find one in the Lexus Vehicles Classifieds and its single stage airbag

You mean like this...

I'll let you guys in on a little secret. If you have the original gs400 17" wheels, the Lexus L from those is an exact fit. That's what I used for mine

Just seems like a mod that you'd make if you said
"I have $50 to mod my car, what should I do?"

I know what kind of car I drive.

I actually like the fact that the Lexus badging in the car is so subtle.

One of those mods like putting "L" stickers on the brake calipers.
I don't "get it," I guess.

I dont think it would be safe to glue something over the airbag, the later models have it as part of the steering wheel. I just wouldnt want an L implanted in my forehead if I ever got into an accident.
