98 GS400. well... i was replacing the 194 bulb on the front passenger door today (the little light on the door by the corner). it was a new 194 bulb and it wasnt working, so i stuck my screw driver into the hole the bulb goes into. it musta shorted something. now the light still doesnt work and even worse, when i close all doors the red door light pops up on the dash. its on there the whole time. it only goes away when i remove the ecu...but then comes back immediately when i put it back. i checked all footbox fuses on both sides and all are ok. i cant even use the lock button on my key anymore cuz it beeps. i have to put it in the keyhole. i did a search but all were outdated and had no solution. i have poked into many holes in my life but this is the only one i regret doing =). any help?

sorry about the long confusing problem. my doors are completely closed but the light indicator says they are still open. so i cant use my keyless entry buttons. i know which door is causing the problem. i just dont know wut i need to fix it.
