You go thru insurance and have them pay for it and they are gonna take it right back in your insurance payments plain and simple. If you pay out your pocket Its gonna get expensive and 3-4k isnt gonna fix all that damage, so buy a beater and build it back slowly because either way its gonna cost you.

DUDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE damnnnnnn, this makes me wanna relocate my battery to my trunk LOL damn man sad to see it like this. you were my IDOL MAN. and about the insurance, i dont know what your policy is but insurance will cover up to a certain amount of aftermarket parts etc. im not sure about the amount and plus if they tottal your car, you can always buy it back for cheep from them since the car will have a salvage title. Jeff, Go through the insurance. This is the reason why you pay your premium.
Trust me the adjusters don't know Jack about your car. Don't mention anything about your after market parts in the engine bay. What I would do is take out the turbo though, and let them try to figure out the rest. Play dumb like another member said. I always have nightmares about my car catching on fire, I have to go buy a fire extinguisher.
